Who we are

Information we collect
Hosts (account holders)
- Name and email address when you create an account
- Event details you enter, such as album name, date and cover photo
- Payment information, which is processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
Guests
- Photos and videos you choose to upload
- An optional name or message you add to your upload
- Basic technical data such as device type and browser, used to make uploads work
Everyone
- Usage data, such as pages visited and errors, collected through cookies and similar tools
- Anything you send us when you contact support
Photo metadata
Photos can contain hidden information such as the time taken and, on some phones, location. We use the time to sort albums. [Choose one: We remove location data from uploads. / Location data is kept unless the host turns it off.]

Albums stay active for the period included in your plan. After that, photos are deleted within [30] days unless you extend the album. Account details are kept until you delete your account. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires.

Security
Uploads are sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with access controls. No system is completely secure, so we also recommend using a PIN for albums with sensitive photos.
Children
AddMyPics accounts are for people aged 18 and over. Photos of children may appear in family event albums; hosts are responsible for sharing these albums only with people they trust. If you believe we hold data about a child that should be removed, contact us.
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify account holders by email.
